Terms of use

What Atlas is
Atlas, at atlas.funtechfactory.com, is a free service by David López Cuadrado to plan trips and share them. By using it you accept these terms and confirm you've read the privacy policy. You sign in with your FunTech Factory account, so its terms of use apply too.
Access
Anyone with a FunTech Factory account and a verified email can use Atlas. You must be at least 14: Atlas isn't aimed at children under that age. We may withdraw access if you break these terms.
Your trips
- What you write in Atlas is yours. We only use it to store it and show it to you and to the people you share each trip with.
- Anyone a trip is shared with can see it, change it and delete it. Share it only with people you trust.
- You're responsible for what you write and for having permission to share others' data.
- If you publish a trip in Inspiration, anyone can see it and use it as a template for their own. Publish only what you want to make public and don't include other people's data. We may remove a published trip that breaks these terms.
- If you comment on a published trip, your comment is public. Don't post spam, advertising, insults, other people's data or anything illegal. Whoever published the trip can delete any comment, and we can also delete those that break these terms.
Assistants
You can connect Atlas to Claude or ChatGPT. What the assistant changes in your trips it does in your name, and it's logged. Check its changes: assistants can make mistakes. Their use is also governed by each assistant's terms. To protect the service, we limit how many requests an assistant can make in a short time.
Atlas isn't a travel agency
Atlas makes no bookings and doesn't check what you write. Times, places and amounts are what's written in each trip, and maps and places come from OpenStreetMap, which may contain errors. Always confirm important details with the airline, the hotel or whoever is responsible.
Acceptable use
Don't use Atlas to break the law or third parties' rights, access other people's trips or data, try to get around its security measures, or overload or attack the service.
What you publish (trips, comments, your profile) can't harass, insult or threaten anyone, incite hatred, be spam or unsolicited advertising, or include other people's personal data or content you have no right to share.
Moderation
Anyone can report an account or a comment. The people who run Atlas review reports and, if something breaks these terms, they can:
- Remove a comment: it stops showing, as if you'd deleted it, and we tell you.
- Take a trip off Inspiration: it stays yours and private, we tell you why, and you can't publish it again until they allow it.
- Suspend your account, for a time or until further notice: you can't sign in and nobody sees your profile, published trips or comments. When you try to sign in you'll see it's suspended and how to reach us.
None of this deletes your data, and all of it can be undone: if you think it's a mistake, write to contacto@funtechfactory.com. Every decision is logged with its reason.
Availability and liability
Atlas is free and provided as is. We'll try to keep it working well and without interruptions, but we can't guarantee it, and we make backups without being able to ensure no data is ever lost. We may change Atlas or shut it down with at least 30 days' notice; if we shut it down, we'll give you a copy of your trips if you ask us for it. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of Atlas. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Leaving
You can stop using Atlas whenever you like and ask us to delete your data by writing to contacto@funtechfactory.com.
Changes to the terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page's date. If the change is significant, we'll let you know by email at least 15 days in advance.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live. For any question or complaint, write to contacto@funtechfactory.com or visit the support page.
